Flour Restaurant, the popular Italian eatery known for its authentic cuisine, has announced plans to open a second location at the developing Valor Acres site in Brecksville. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the restaurant, which has built a devoted following at its original location.
The new restaurant will be part of the ongoing development at Valor Acres, a mixed-use project transforming the former Veterans Affairs property in Brecksville. According to sources familiar with the project, Flour’s second location will occupy a prominent space within the commercial district of the development.
“We’re thrilled to bring our passion for authentic Italian cooking to Brecksville,” said Paul Minnillo, chef and owner of Flour Restaurant. “Valor Acres represents an exciting opportunity to reach new customers while maintaining the quality and experience that has made our original location successful.”
The Brecksville location is expected to feature the same rustic Italian cuisine that has earned Flour its reputation, including handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and seasonal specialties. The restaurant will likely maintain its focus on regional Italian dishes and carefully sourced ingredients.
Valor Acres has been steadily attracting businesses as part of Brecksville’s largest development project in decades. The 103-acre mixed-use site is planned to include office space, retail, restaurants, and residential units when completed.
City officials have expressed enthusiasm about the addition of an established restaurant to the development. “Securing tenants of Flour’s caliber demonstrates the appeal of Valor Acres as a destination for high-quality businesses,” a representative from the city’s economic development office noted.
While an official opening date has not been announced, construction is expected to begin in the coming months, with the restaurant potentially opening its doors by late fall.
The original Flour Restaurant, located in Moreland Hills, will continue operations as normal.
