Signature Health has acquired a property in Beachwood for $5.3 million, marking a significant expansion for the behavioral healthcare provider in Northeast Ohio.
The purchase represents the organization’s continued growth strategy in the region as it works to increase access to mental health and addiction services.
“This acquisition allows us to better serve the community with expanded behavioral health services,” said a representative from Signature Health. “The Beachwood location offers excellent accessibility for residents throughout the eastern suburbs.”
The property, located in one of Cleveland’s premier eastern suburbs, will reportedly undergo renovations before opening to patients later this year.
County records indicate the transaction was completed earlier this month, with Signature Health acquiring the property from a local investment group.
Signature Health currently operates multiple facilities throughout Northeast Ohio, offering integrated care including mental health services, addiction recovery, primary care, and case management.
The Beachwood acquisition follows the organization’s pattern of strategic growth throughout the region over the past several years.
Local officials have welcomed the expansion, noting the increasing demand for behavioral health services in the area.
Expected services to be offered at the new location include outpatient counseling, psychiatric care, and addiction treatment programs, though specific details are still being finalized.
