BEACHWOOD, Ohio – National insurance provider GEICO has opened its first corporate office in Ohio, selecting Beachwood as its location.
The new 6,300-square-foot office is located in the Landmark Centre at 25700 Science Park Drive. GEICO plans to add at least 50 new jobs at the location, bringing new employment opportunities to Northeast Ohio.
The Beachwood location marks the company’s first official corporate presence in Ohio. While GEICO has several insurance agents serving Ohio customers, those are independent contractors rather than corporate employees.
Beachwood’s Director of Economic Development, Cathy Bieterman, was recently named the 2025 Team NEO Regional Economic Development Champion Award recipient.
Employees began working at the new location last month. The company has not disclosed specific details about the new positions or the length of the lease agreement.
The new office is situated near Mayfield-based Progressive Corp., one of GEICO’s major competitors in the auto insurance market.
