Firefighters Respond to Early Morning Blaze in Garfield Heights


Garfield Heights, Ohio – On May 14th, firefighters responded to a working fire reported at the 5300 block of East 133rd Street in Garfield Heights. The fire was reported around 8:55 AM, with flames visible on the second floor of a residential building.

The call came in from NE Ohio Scanner, alerting local authorities to the blaze. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, finding a significant fire on the second floor of the home. Firefighters worked diligently to control the fire, utilizing hoses and other equipment to combat the flames.

Thanks to the swift response and teamwork of the Garfield Heights Fire Department, the fire was contained and extinguished before it could spread to neighboring homes. There were no immediate reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Residents in the area expressed their gratitude for the firefighters’ quick actions in preventing further damage. More details will be provided as the investigation continues.
