Veterans’ Way Park Splash Pad Opens for Summer Season Memorial Day Weekend Launch

Hudson’s splash pad at Veterans’ Way Park has officially opened for the summer season, giving families a new recreational option as the weather transitions into warmer months.

The splash pad at Veterans’ Way Park is now open daily, ready to provide refreshing relief once summer temperatures arrive in earnest.

The splash pad operates daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Veterans’ Way Park, Hudson’s newest recreational facility. The water feature is located within the parking lot area of the 38-acre park, positioned near the volleyball court with fenced access directly from the parking lot.

The splash pad features fountains of various shapes and sizes that spray water directly from the ground, allowing children to run and play through the water features. Large stones placed around the area provide seating for parents and guardians who are not participating in the water activities.

Veterans’ Way Park offers amenities for all ages across its 38 acres. The park includes playground equipment, a pavilion that can accommodate 100 people, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, Hudson’s skate park, and one mile of walking trails that include a wetlands area and restored Story Walk.

The park is centrally located near downtown Hudson and easily accessible from Route 91 or Milford Road. Restrooms and ample parking are available for visitors.

The splash pad was created through a partnership between the City of Hudson and the Kiwanis Club of Hudson. The facility will remain open daily through the summer season.
