The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 39-year-old man Sunday night in Canton Township.
Sean Gates was struck by a vehicle around 10:40 p.m. June 15 in the 1600 block of Shepler Church Avenue SW. The driver fled the scene, leaving Gates fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies are searching for a white sedan with front-end damage. The sheriff’s office has released photos of the suspected vehicle.
