Scheeser Buckley Mayfield has hired two recent engineering graduates to support the Akron-based consulting firm’s steady business growth.
The company welcomed electrical engineer Blake Abbott and mechanical engineer Matt Dyson to their staff, both graduating in May from Ohio universities.
Abbott, an electrical engineer, graduated from Ohio Northern University and completed a co-op rotation at SBM that led to his full-time position. He lives in Canton.
Dyson joined as a mechanical engineer after graduating from The University of Akron. He previously completed four co-op rotations with project management and design consulting firms and resides in Uniontown.
The regional consulting engineering firm specializes in civil, electrical, mechanical, technology, forensics and commissioning services. SBM serves clients across Ohio and 15 other states and has operated for more than 65 years.
