Million-Dollar Baseball Card Found at Cuyahoga Falls Shop

Rare dual autograph featuring MVP superstars could break auction records

A customer at All-Pro Sportscards in Cuyahoga Falls struck gold when they pulled what could become one of the most valuable baseball cards ever created. The one-of-a-kind Topps Dual Gold Logoman card features autographs from both Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, the reigning American League and National League MVPs.

Rich Rinella has owned All-Pro Sportscards for 24 years, proud of the fact that he keeps collectible baseball card boxes intact, giving buyers a greater chance of finding something remarkable in each pack. The shop owner watched as his customer opened a jumbo pack of 2025 Topps Chrome Baseball cards, not knowing they were about to make sports card history.

Inside was a redemption card to claim the actual card, which Topps said has not actually yet been made. The card will feature gold MLB logo patches that were worn on the backs of both players’ jerseys this season, along with their on-card autographs.

“I’m like, ‘Oh, this is just a monster card.’ And then I see Ohtani and Judge. This could potentially get seven digits. I mean, it is that one incredible card,” said Rinella. The shop owner was so excited about the historic pull that “I even went back in the trash and grabbed the actual box that it came out of, you know? I’m going to keep that too in the store.”

Industry experts believe the card could sell for over $1 million at auction. A previous Ohtani card sold for more than $1 million through Heritage Auctions in March. Rinella said he has been contacted by Topps and its parent company Fanatics. He has also been contacted by all of the major auction houses across the country, which want to know who bought the card — but the owner wants to remain anonymous while deciding what to do with the valuable collectible.

The dual autograph card is part of Topps’ new Gold Logoman series, which celebrates 2024 award winners. Only 35 of these special cards exist, making them among the rarest in the hobby. “When you think about how many cases of this are all over the world and it was hit right here in Cuyahoga Falls,” he said.

All-Pro Sportscards is located in Cuyahoga Falls and has been serving collectors for more than two decades.
