Drug-Related Arrests

August 12 – Police arrested an individual on Kent Road for drug paraphernalia possession and drug abuse violations following a warrant execution at 8:17 PM.

DUI/OVI Incidents

The department handled multiple impaired driving cases throughout the week:

  • August 14 – Driver arrested at Fishcreek Road/Laurel Woods Boulevard for OVI with a prior conviction within 20 years, plus headlight beam violations
  • August 15 – OVI arrest on Bunker Lane involving failure to control, weaving, and lack of full-time attention
  • August 16 – Early morning OVI arrest (1:26 AM) with additional charges for speeding and improper lane usage
  • August 18 – Late evening OVI incident at Verner Road/Kent Road

Theft and Fraud

Shoplifting – Multiple incidents reported at Berry Hill location, with arrests made on August 16 and warrant issued on August 14.

Identity Fraud – Two separate cases involving identity theft and fraudulent use of personal information:

August 17 – Aggravated menacing incident in Cuyahoga Falls area, victim was reluctant to cooperate.

Property Crimes

Breaking and Entering – August 18 incident on Darrow Road resulted in Matrix Stow Success disposition.

Burglary – August 13 burglary reported on Waterford Circle, case closed.

Vandalism – Criminal damage reported on Sanford Avenue on August 12.

Public Order

August 14 – Disorderly conduct and intoxication incident at Darrow Lake Drive/Norton Road intersection.

August 15 – Individual arrested for obstruction, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct on Verner Road.

August 16 – Public intoxication arrest on Hudson Drive.

Serious Crimes Under Investigation

April 9 (reported August 18) – Sex offense case involving pandering sexual matter to a minor remains under investigation on Cherokee Trail.
