Solon Police Reports: Nitrous Oxide Crash, Disorderly Conduct and Multiple OVI Arrests

DISORDERLY CONDUCT Aug. 20, 10:30 a.m., SOM Center at Sherbrook Park Drive – Officers responded to report of disoriented man stepping into traffic. Steven Farr, 53, Cuyahoga Falls, found holding onto sign at Sherbrook Garden Condos appearing intoxicated and disheveled. Arrested for disorderly conduct.

IDENTITY THEFT Aug. 20, 6:37 p.m., Solon Police Department – Woman, 61, reported receiving bill for ambulance transport in Washington D.C. she never received. Someone used her identity for emergency medical care Aug. 4. Under investigation.

THEFT Aug. 21, 11:02 a.m., SOM Center Road – Woman, 72, reported missing diamond earrings valued at $8,000-$10,000 from bedroom. Jewelry missing since summer 2020. Detectives investigating.

ABUSING HARMFUL INTOXICANTS/OVI Aug. 21, 8:05 p.m., Solon Road – Gray Dodge Ram crashed into fire hydrant and fence after driver lost control. Dominic Dauria, 22, Solon, admitted using nitrous oxide before crash. Used canister found near dumpster. Charged with abusing harmful intoxicants, OVI and tampering with evidence. Vehicle towed.

OVI Aug. 22, 10:57 p.m., Solon Road near Station Street – Black Chevy Equinox stopped driving wrong direction in construction zone. Ronald Holt, 37, Cleveland, admitted drinking beer and tequila. Registered .043% BAC. Non-functional loaded pistol found in vehicle. Charged with OVI, driving on closed road and open container. Vehicle towed.

OVI Aug. 23, 1:24 a.m., SOM Center Road near Inwood – Gray Mazda stopped driving wrong direction in construction zone. Robert Florence, 53, Cleveland, admitted smoking marijuana. Charged with OVI, driving on closed road and failure to obey traffic device. Passenger Anthony Reed, 43, Warrensville Heights, cited for no seatbelt and providing false information. Vehicle towed.

OVI Aug. 25, 12:18 a.m., Richmond Road near Cannon Road – Hyundai stopped for driving 20 mph in 35 mph zone and crossing center line. Bryan Alexander Centeno Magana, 26, Cleveland, admitted drinking 2-3 beers, refused breath test. License suspended. Charged with OVI, no driver’s license and driving in marked lanes. Vehicle towed.
