Two free Seniors & Caregivers Expos scheduled for September will provide northeast Ohio residents with access to essential health and wellness resources during National Self-Care Month.
The Macedonia expo takes place September 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Macedonia Fire Station on Valley View Road. The North Randall event follows September 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at JACK Thistledown Racino on Emery Road.
Both events will feature vendors specializing in senior care, healthcare, Medicare and Medicaid insurance, home health services and home improvement. Attendees can receive free blood pressure screenings and take home complimentary resource bags.
The Macedonia location will offer live chair exercise demonstrations and food trucks for lunch purchases. North Randall attendees can enjoy live ballroom dancers and a singer performance, plus casino promotions.
Door prizes and giveaways will be available at both locations. The expos target seniors, their families and caregivers seeking information and support related to aging services.
