Sept. 11Serious Domestic Violence Arrest at Preschool A woman was arrested on charges of domestic violence and endangering children after allegedly assaulting the father of her children in the parking lot of Ganon Gil Preschool on Shaker Boulevard. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when the man was holding their 1-year-old son. The assault involved personal weapons (hands, feet) and other weapons. The woman was later arrested on both domestic violence and child endangerment charges.

Sept. 3Domestic Violence Threats Lead to Arrest A man was arrested for domestic violence threats on Halworth Road late in the evening around 10:40 p.m.

Sept. 6Domestic Disturbance Officers responded to a disturbance between a man and woman at a residence on Cedar Road around 9:45 p.m.

Sept. 12Check Fraud at Business A business on Commerce Park reported check fraud to police.

Sept. 11Psychiatric Transport A Signature Healthcare patient on Chagrin Boulevard was transported to Ahuja Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.

Sept. 6Two Separate Mental Health Transports

  • A woman was transported to Ahuja Hospital for evaluation after a crisis intervention call at a hotel on Chagrin Boulevard.
  • A parent requested a welfare check on their daughter on Geo Zeiger Drive. The woman was located and transported to Hillcrest Hospital for evaluation.
