Officers conducted a traffic stop on West Garfield Road near Parkway B, resulting in a DUI-12 Point Suspension citation. The driver was operating a 2004 Honda from Streetsboro when stopped by police.

A resident on Chatham Drive reported being victimized by identity theft after someone kept asking to purchase Apple cards. The incident involved a scam totaling $8,379.29. Police are investigating the fraud case.


Theft Complaint Filed on Chelmsford Drive

September 26

A resident on Chelmsford Drive reported a theft involving missing mail and collectible cards valued at $3,000. The postal carrier had signed for a package at the residence, but there was a discrepancy when the carrier was questioned. The resident discovered the package had been handed to someone who appeared to be in a dirty Camry with a dog.


Motor Vehicle Theft Reported on North Aurora Road

A 2025 Ford Maverick was reported missing from North Aurora Road. The vehicle owner reported the theft to police, who advised filing a report. Ford was contacted to locate the vehicle but was unable to establish a connection. The investigation revealed a possible mix-up with temporary tags.

Emergency services responded to a drug overdose on White Tail Drive. A 35-year-old male was found drooling and possibly under the influence of heroin. The individual was breathing but slumped over in a truck in the driveway. Medical personnel responded to the scene.

Suspicious Vehicle Report on Fairington Oval

A resident on Fairington Oval reported two suspicious vehicles parked in the area between 1:30-2:30 a.m. The resident provided ring camera footage showing three individuals exiting white vehicles and walking away. The reporting party will email the video to police and will upload a map of the vehicles’ locations.

An incident of vandalism was reported on South Chillicothe Road where unknown writing appeared on a booth window.


Ambulance Request on Moneta Avenue

September 26

Emergency services responded to an ambulance request on Moneta Avenue. A wheelchair-bound individual had been laying in the backyard on the ground for an hour. First responders stepped up the call, and the individual was transported to the hospital.
