The Rotary Club of Twinsburg brought the community together Saturday evening for its annual Fall Clam Bake at the Big Red Barn on Liberty Road, raising funds for local programs supporting children in need.
Attendees enjoyed a feast featuring BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, sweet potato casserole, loaded mashed potato casserole, homestyle baked beans, cole slaw, a dozen middle neck clams, salad, and rolls with butter. The evening included appetizers with a huge charcuterie board, a dinner buffet, dessert and raffles at the end of the night.
Tickets for the event were $50 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Rotary projects including the Twinsburg City School District’s Paws on Hunger program and the Twinsburg Police Department’s Shop with a Cop program.
The Paws on Hunger program provides bags of nutritious food to eligible school-aged children through eighth grade every Friday, ensuring they have healthy meals over the weekend. The Shop with a Cop program brings joy to disadvantaged children throughout the community each year, with officers, dispatchers and volunteers gathering to make the holidays brighter for local youth.
The event was held at the property of Doyle and Naomi Stutzman at 9550 Liberty Road in Twinsburg.
