Stolen check taken from mailbox
Hudson Police received a report Oct. 13 of a stolen check from the mail on Oxgate Court.
Identity theft cases reported
Two separate identity theft reports were filed with Hudson Police during the week. Officers took reports Oct. 13 at the police department and on Amboy Drive Oct. 13.
Juvenile welfare concerns
Police responded to a mental health crisis Oct. 10 on Ravenna Street involving a 15-year-old male who threatened to harm himself.
A welfare check was conducted Oct. 16 on a juvenile on Brooklands Drive.
Officers responded Oct. 17 to Stoney Hill Drive for a report of an unruly child who took a purse and refused to return it.
SWAT team responds to South Oviatt Street
Metro SWAT was dispatched Oct. 10 to South Oviatt Street for a domestic situation. A resident was taken into custody without issue.
Mental health calls
Officers responded to multiple mental health crises during the week, including calls Oct. 12 on Atterbury Boulevard for a suicidal male, Valley View Road for someone yelling obscenities in a driveway, and West Streetsboro Street.
Assault investigation underway
A juvenile was slapped Oct. 16 on West Streetsboro Street. The investigation is pending.
Domestic situation reported
Officers responded Oct. 17 to a residence on Blackberry Drive for a verbal argument.
Wallet stolen
A wallet was reported stolen Oct. 17 from a Parmelee Drive residence.
Hit-skip crash reported
Officers responded Oct. 17 to the area of Darrow Road and Middleton Road for a hit-skip crash.
Disorderly conduct at hospital
Officers responded Oct. 17 to Western Reserve Hospital for a report of disorderly conduct.
Property damage at Unity Health
Police responded Oct. 13 to the parking lot of Unity Health on Corporate Drive for property damage.
Other incidents
Police handled various other calls including suspicious activity reports, noise complaints on Sullivan Road and at The Country Club of Hudson, a disturbance at a Darrow Road gas station, welfare checks, civil matters, and assisted other agencies.
