STOW, Ohio – The following incidents were reported by the Stow Police Department for the week of December 16–22, 2025. The Stow police blotter includes complaints, OVI arrests, thefts, telecommunications harassment, and other offenses throughout the city and surrounding area.
Complaint/Personnel – Allen Road
On December 16 at 10:50 a.m., officers responded to a complaint involving personnel on Allen Road. The incident was documented as a citizen interaction and later closed.
Telecommunications Harassment – Graham Road
On December 16 at 11:53 a.m., police investigated a telecommunications harassment complaint on Graham Road involving sexually explicit activity conducted via electronic means. The case was closed.
Assault – Graham Road (Cuyahoga Falls)
On December 16 at 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a simple assault report at a Graham Road address in Cuyahoga Falls. The assault case was investigated and closed.
Criminal Damage – Wyndham Ridge Drive
On December 16 at 5:04 p.m., officers were called to Wyndham Ridge Drive for a report of criminal damage. The incident involved damage to property and was recorded as criminal damage.
Theft From Motor Vehicle – Norton Road
On December 17 at 5:51 a.m., police responded to Norton Road for a report of theft from a motor vehicle. Property was reported stolen from a vehicle at that location.
Shoplifting – Darrow Road
On December 17 at 11:09 a.m., officers were called to a business on Darrow Road for a shoplifting complaint. One person was arrested in connection with the theft.
Shoplifting – Kent Road
On December 17 at 1:50 p.m., police responded to a retail theft at a business on Kent Road. The incident was classified as theft-shoplifting.
Domestic Incident – Newcomer Road
On December 17 at 9:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to Newcomer Road for a domestic incident involving a reported domestic violence situation. The report notes a reluctant victim.
Telecommunications Harassment – Darrow Road
On December 18 at 9:40 a.m., police investigated telecommunications harassment at a location on Darrow Road. The report listed a failure to desist after being told to stop the communications.
OVI/Closed Highway – Darrow Road and Maple Road
On December 18 at 2:07 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle near Darrow Road and Maple Road. The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, with a reported blood alcohol concentration of .17 or higher, and was also cited for driving upon a closed highway.
Shoplifting – Hudson Drive
On December 18 at 5:31 p.m., police responded to a business on Hudson Drive for a theft complaint. One person was arrested in a shoplifting incident.
OVI – Hiwood Avenue and Kent Road
On December 18 at 8:18 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near Hiwood Avenue and Kent Road. A driver was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.
Welfare Check – Wyndham Ridge Drive
Police performed a welfare check at an address on Wyndham Ridge Drive under Juvenile Rule 6. The case was documented in the log.
Shoplifting/Drug Possession – Kent Road
On December 19 at 2:35 p.m., officers were called to a business on Kent Road for a theft complaint. One person was arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
OVI Crash – Kent Road and Fishcreek Road
On December 19 at 7:57 p.m., police responded to a traffic incident near Kent Road and Fishcreek Road. The case was documented as operating a vehicle under the influence with an assured clear distance violation. The case was later closed.
OVI/Reckless Operation – Darrow Road and Maple Road
On December 20 at 3:53 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle near Darrow Road and Maple Road. The driver was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and reckless operation on streets or other property. The case was listed as pending prosecution.
Theft – Tall Grass Circle
A theft reported to have occurred on December 12 at an address on Tall Grass Circle was logged on December 20. The incident was classified as theft-other.
Drug Possession – Seasons Road and Scarlet Lane
On December 20 at 12:22 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Seasons Road and Scarlet Lane. One person was arrested for possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance.
Telecommunications Harassment – East Steels Corners Road
On December 20 at 1:30 p.m., officers investigated telecommunications harassment involving repeated unwanted contact at a location on East Steels Corners Road. The case was closed.
Menacing/Stalking – Ridgeline Trail
On December 20 at 1:08 p.m., police responded to Ridgeline Trail for a menacing/stalking complaint. The incident was investigated and closed.
Identity Theft – Fishcreek Road
On December 19, officers took a report from a resident on Fishcreek Road who said their identity had been used by another person. The report listed identity theft and holding another person out as oneself. The case was closed.
Criminal Damaging – Orchard Drive
On December 20 at 3:00 p.m., officers were called to an address on Orchard Drive for a criminal damaging or endangering complaint. The report indicated property was knowingly damaged by some means.
Overdose/Narcan Use – Lakeview Boulevard
On December 20 at 5:40 p.m., police and medical personnel responded to an overdose on Lakeview Boulevard. The report notes possession of a schedule I or II drug and the use of Narcan.
Domestic Incident/Criminal Damage – Vira Road
On December 20 at 7:16 p.m., officers responded to a domestic incident on Vira Road. The case involved criminal damage and was closed.
Shoplifting – Kent Road
On December 20 at 8:49 p.m., police were called to a business on Kent Road for another retail theft complaint. The incident was logged as theft-shoplifting.
Menacing/Telecommunications Harassment – Steels Point
On December 21 at 3:00 p.m., officers investigated a menacing and telecommunications harassment complaint at a residence on Steels Point. A warrant was issued in the case.
Assault – L’Ermitage Place
On December 21 at 5:55 p.m., police responded to an address on L’Ermitage Place for a simple assault report. The incident was documented as assault.
Theft – Darrow Road
On December 22 at 12:24 p.m., officers took a theft report from a business on Darrow Road. Details were not specified in the log.
