SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio – Sagamore Hills Police handled several incidents this week, including a felony credit card fraud investigation, a missing medication delivery, and multiple welfare and rescue calls.

Felony Credit Card Fraud Investigation Underway
Officers responded to a residence on Arboretum Circle on January 21 after a resident reported unauthorized use of a PNC debit/credit card. The fraudulent activity reportedly began on January 18 and is being investigated as a felony involving misuse of credit cards and theft by deception. Police are actively investigating the case.

FedEx Package Arrives Without Medication
A Creekside Drive resident reported that a FedEx package was delivered on January 21, but the medications that should have been inside were missing. Police documented the incident as lost property and are looking into the matter.

Officers Conduct Welfare Check on Scenic Point Road
Multiple units responded to a home on Scenic Point Road on January 23 morning to conduct a welfare check. Officers also assisted the rescue squad at the scene.

Emergency Response at West Aurora Road Apartments
Early morning on January 25, Sagamore Hills Police and the Macedonia Fire Department responded to an apartment complex on West Aurora Road following a report of an attempted suicide. Emergency personnel assisted at the scene.
