Structure Fire in Garfield Heights Leaves Two with Minor Injuries

Garfield Heights, OH – A structure fire occurred early Friday morning in the 10200 block of McCracken Road in Garfield Heights. The fire, which started in the kitchen around 1:40 a.m., prompted a quick response from emergency services.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered individuals inside the building, including one person hanging out of a second-floor window. The responders successfully freed all occupants. Two victims suffered from smoke inhalation but fortunately did not sustain any major injuries.

The incident is under investigation, but no further details have been released at this time.
