Ten Northeast Ohio teams have advanced to the state semifinals, each eager to secure a spot in the championship games at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

  • Division I: St. Edward will face Olentangy Liberty at Arlin Field in Mansfield.
  • Division II: Avon High School, seeking to overcome past semifinal hurdles, takes on Archbishop Hoban at InfoCision Stadium in Akron.
  • Division IV: Cleveland Glenville battles Perkins at Bob Bishop Stadium in Clyde, aiming to cement their status as a perennial powerhouse.

Honors and Accolades

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association recognized the region’s top talent in the All-Northeast Inland District teams. Among the honorees:

  • Division I Offensive Player of the Year: Kristian Satterfield, Massillon Jackson.
  • Division I Defensive Player of the Year: Dante McClellan, Canton McKinley.
