Cleveland to Host 2025 USA Hockey Girls Tier II National Championship

Cleveland, Ohio, will become the epicenter of youth hockey excitement as it hosts the 2025 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier II 19U National Championship. Scheduled for April 2 through April 6, 2025, the event will be held at two prominent local arenas: Brunswick Auto Mart Arena in Strongsville and Mentor Ice Arena in Mentor. More information about the championship can be found at usahockeynationals.com.

The national championship is expected to draw teams from across the United States, all competing for the coveted title in the highly competitive Girls Tier II 19U category. The selection of Cleveland as the host city highlights Northeast Ohio’s growing reputation as a prime destination for major youth sporting events, particularly ice hockey.

The event is proudly supported by local hockey organizations such as the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL), which has played a significant role in the growth and promotion of hockey within the region since its establishment in 1971. The CSHL’s continued dedication has fostered a vibrant community passionate about the sport and committed to youth athletic development.

Further supporting hockey’s growth, the Cleveland Monsters, the city’s American Hockey League team, regularly offer programs aimed at introducing children to the sport. Initiatives such as “Try Hockey for Free” and “Learn to Play” are designed to build foundational skills and inspire enthusiasm among local youth.

The 2025 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier II 19U National Championship is proudly sponsored by WeldonPC.com, Fine Designs, Total Sports Imaging, and Scoreboards, whose support helps make the event possible and highlights local business involvement in youth athletics.

With the championship approaching, anticipation continues to rise among players, families, and hockey enthusiasts. This prestigious event not only promises thrilling competition and outstanding talent but also serves to reinforce Cleveland’s stature as an influential hub for youth hockey nationwide.
